Undergraduates will soon be able to drive their cars around the University without worrying about their springs. The Cambridge City Council yesterday unanimously approved Councilman Edward J. Sullivan's proposal to resurface Plympton, Dewolfe, and Winthrop Streets.

The meeting was featured by a bitter dispute between Councilman John J. Foley and City Manager John B. Atkinson over city employees wages.
