Ames Lead Taken By Cardozo Club

The Cardozo Law Club won its quarter-final argument of the Ames Competition last night against the Kaplan Law Club. Marcus Aaron II 2L and Richard J. Graving 2L were the oralists presenting the winning argument.

Announcing a unanimous decision on behalf of the judges, the Honorable Philip Halpern, Justice, Supreme Court of New York, Eighth Judicial District, said that both sides presented well-prepared briefs and arguments and the decision was reached only after considerable discussion.

The winning club argued the negative of last night's issue of whether a transit company may have broadcasts with commercials in its buses and streetcars.
