'Cliffe Grant-in-Aid Fund to Receive Profits From Traditional May Day Bazaar on Quad

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Benefits from the annual 'Cliffe May Day Bazaar will go to the Grant-in-Aid Fund this year for the third time, Mary Jane Wade '52, general chairman of the event, revealed yesterday.

The Bazaar will take place on the Radcliffe quad, from 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. May 1.

Each Annex club and dormitory will prepare a booth for the Bazaar, which is sponsored by the Student Government's Community Service Committee.

Profits in past years have been donated to several causes, but since its founding Grant-in-Aid has become the main organization receiving Bazaar funds.

Organization for the Bazaar is being handled by Norma Glazer '54 and Grace Kennan '54, Community Service fund raising co-chairmen.

Publicity stunts planned for the event feature construction of a Maypole in the center of the Annex quadrangle on the day preceding the Bazaar by Radcliffe's Student Government Publicity Committee.

Profits from the Bazaar have been good in the past; although exact figures were not available, 'Cliffe Community Service officers estimated last years profits at close to $200.
