'55 Nine Plays Brown, Jumbos this Weekend

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

The freshman baseball team will be without the services of Captain George MacDonald when it plays Brown today at 3p.m. in Providence. The stocky catcher, who was shaken up in Wednesday's practice, will probably also miss tomorrow's--game against Tufts at 3:45 on Soldiers Field.

Against the Bruins, righthander Andy Ward will be looking for his second win of the new season. Ward pitched eight innings of no-bit ball against Boston Teachers College in his first outing.

The lineup today

Nahigian (2b), Cooney (rf), Conzelman (3b), Chanucey (lf), Pildner (cf), Hoffman (c), Murphy (ss), Cranney (lb), and Ward (p).
