Robert G. McCloskey has been promoted to associate professor of Government, effective on the completion of his term as assistant professor, July 1, 1953. Provost Buck announced yesterday.
McCloskey has specialized in constitutional law and political theory and is currently studying the status of constitutional doctrine in the field of civic liberties during the past three decades.
Nursery Picks Director
Dean Francis Keppel of the School of Education announced the appointment of Miss Judith A. Schoellkopf as an Instructor in the School and Director of the Harvard Nursery, effective July 1, 1952.
Miss Schoellkopf is currently a child psychologist at the Mayo Clinic and from 1945 to 1947 directed the Sarah Lawrence Nursery School.
New B-School Lecturer
A third appointment has made Howard C. Greer the Dickinson Lecturer for 1952 at the Business School. He is the Vice-president in charge of Finance of the Chicago, Indianapolis, and Louisville Railway Company.
