Freshman hockey Coach Miles Huntington isn't making any predictions about the Yardlings' chances in the Yale game tonight. "Pretty good," is all he concedes. But the '55 record of one loss and a tie in 16 starts is an indication of more than a little ability.
Judging from scouting reports, Huntington said that "Yale will be the best team the Yardlings will play." The Elis have won five of their six games and have been improving steadily.
The return of George Bueller at defense has helped the '55 squad to fill up the hole left by Jim Moynahan. Freshman first-line forwards Doug Manchester, Ned Bliss, and Scott Cooledge look much better statistically than their Eli counterparts. Defenseman and captain Hig Gould is the outstanding Yale player.
