HUA Election Will Feature No Referenda or Survey Questions
Norman Thomas, a candidate for president in the last five elections under the Socialist banner, will pinpoint foreign policy errors at 8 p.m. Monday in New Lecture Hall.
In a letter to Richard T. Watson '54, president of the U.N. Council, Thomas said, "I have every intention of discussing mistakes. I also, however, will try to give credit where credit is due."
Calling Thomas the finest speaker in this country today, Watson added, "We feel that Norman Thomas has become a living part of the American heritage. He's been in the forefront of the movement for social welfare during the past 20 years. Others have followed his lead."
