Ending his 32 years of service to Harvard track in June, Coach Jaakko Mikkola commented that this year's team should do very well in its seven spring meets.

He continued that the team's showing in the indoor meets was not a true sample of its ability, because of injuries and illness.

The varsity schedule is as follows: Brown, April 12; Rhode Island State, 19; Holy Cross and Boston University, 26; Dartmouth, May 3; Yale, 10; Heptagonal Games at West Point, 17; IC4A at Triborough Stadium, N.Y., 30-31. Freshman: Andover, April 19; Exeter, 26, Dartmouth, May 2; Yale, 10.
