Insufficient time for rehearsals has forced Pi Eta to cancel "After Taps," a musical comedy production scheduled for this spring. Also, the Theatre Group revealed that it has had to schedule sectional rehearsals over spring vacation for its production of "Measure for Measure" in order to open May 9 for the All-College Weekend. It will have a week's less rehearsal time than it did last year.
Pi Eta ran into difficulties over conflicting vacations of its cast. The men, drawn from the College, return from vacation on April 7; the women, from Emerson Junior College, leave on April 7 and return on April 22, four days before the scheduled opening. Since neither men nor women would be in Boston to rehearse during vacation, the production was cancelled after-ten days of rehearsal.
