Harvard - Radcliffe Orchestra Substitutes for Philharmonic

The Harvard-Radcliffe Orchestra will make musical history when it plays in Symphony Hall tonight. According to Paul Milde '53, secretary of the orchestra, this will mark the first time that a college orchestra has ever played there.

The orchestra is substituting for the New England Philharmonic. Conductor Russell Stanger has chosen a program of works by Schubert, Mozart, Boyce, and Vivaldi. The concert will begin at 8:15 p.m.: tickets will be sold at the door.
