Bulldogs may take their beef from dainty china service if a proposed plan to replace the metal trays used in Yale dining halls materializes.

Though the return to semi-gracious living is still in the nebulous stage, Yale officials say that it is possible that it might go into effect next fall. The chairman of the Dining Halls Service committee declared this "a real step forward."
