Dartmouth Fees Rise to $800; Scholarship Holders Exempted

Dartmouth's charges for tuition and medical fee will jump from $675 to $800 next year, college officials announced. The $125 increase was blamed on increased expenses.

Although Dartmouth's tuition and medical fees are higher than those of the college, the basic charges, including room and board, are the same. Both Dartmouth and Harvard list their fixed expenses at $1,450. Scholarship holders will not have to pay the increased charges
