Lawrence M. Noble, Jr. of Groton, Mass., was yesterday elected Yale hockey captain for next season.

Noble was top scorer on this year's team with 19 points from his wing position. He succeeds Harry Havemeyer as captain. Noble is the son of a famous Yale hockey star and coach.
