For the second year in a row, John Henry Lee '53 of Newton Center has been elected to lead the varsity wrestling team. The 1952-53 squad will be the third that Lee has captained at Harvard: he also led the 1951-52 matmen and the freshman squad.
The 125-pound National A.A.U. champion has gone undefeated in two seasons of varsity dual-meet. A graduate of Exeter, where he was captain of the mal team in his senior year, Lee won seven meets last season and five this year.
Last weekend at Bethlehem. Lee gained third place in the Eastern intercollegiates, losing only to titleholder Bob Homan of Penn State.
Lee will leave shortly for Colorado to compete in the N.C.A.A. wrestling championships., which will be held on the 28th and 29th of March.
