Varsity swimmers yesterday elected Ronald E. Huebsch '53 of Darien, Connecticut, and Leverett House to captain the 1952-53 squad.

A graduate of Exeter, Huebsch is a freestyler who has appeared in the 50 and 100-yard sprints, the 300-yard medley relay and the 400-yard freestyle relay.

Huebsch swam with the 400-yard relay squad that finished in a dead heat with Dartmouth for second place in the Eastern intercollegiate finals at Yale on Friday, but was judged third.
