A trio of travelling Latin-Americans paid a visit to the University last weekend, and came away finding themselves "completely at home for the first time since we have been in America."

Matilde de Auso of Argentina Nowmi Diaz of Cuba, and Luey Dunsmore of Chile hold positions in the respective countries. They have been sent on a tour of the United States by the State Department and come to Harvard via the University's "Higher Education" plan for foreign dignitaries.

Miss Diaz handles editorial writing for the Press Section of the embassy. Assistant chief of the Motion Picture Unit of the United States Information Service in Buenos Aires, Miss de Anso heads the distribution of American cultural movies throughout Argentina. Mrs. Dunsmore writes from four to five radio shows a day as chief of the radio unit at the Chilean embassy.

When the women have concluded their three-month cross country tour they hope "to get an idea of how the States live, what the people are like, and how they get their spirit.

"We want to get the real feeling of America. As we cover the important fields in our countries which are the media for telling of the States, it is necessary to have first hand knowledge."
