President Conant will speak to commuter students for the first time in their history at their second annual dinner April 8.
Robert L. Fischelis 2L, Non-Resident's Graduate Secretary, said yesterday that he expects at least 300 commuters to hear Conant, and has made special arrangements with Professor John H. Finley, Jr. '25, Master of Eliot House, to hold the function in Eliot's dining hall.
John U. Monro '34 director of the Financial Aid Center, will be a second speaker at the dinner. Both his talk and Conant's will be informal and off the record, as in the case of the President's regular addresses to students in the Houses. No title for either talk will be announced beforehand.
