Martin S. Baskin of Chicago and Dunster House won the sophomore competition for indoor track manager, it was announced last night by William W. McCurdy, assistant track coach.
Baskin will be assistant manager for the next season, and will automatically be made varsity manager the following year. Thomas S. Derr '53 of Newton and Eliot House, this year's assistant manager, will manage the varsity next year.
The associate manager next year will be Arthur L. Fine of Denver and Kirkland House, who was runner up in the sophomore competition. Associate managers are appointed for one season, and are automatically retired from managerial work at the end of that time. Graduating manager of indoor track is John M. Turner '52.
