NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Fifteen undergraduate orators were chosen semi finalists yesterday from a field of 51 competitors in the opening lap of the Boylston Public Speaking Contest held in Paine Hall. Usually, finalists are picked directly: the extra step was added because of the large turnout.

Gershuny '51, James M. Harkless '52, John M. Kettlewell '52. Bernard M. Makihara '53, Burton G. Malkiel '54, Marvin E. Mazie '52, and Robert C. Mello '53.

Seven will talk at 2 p.m. They are: Martin C. Needler '54, Marvin S. Sadik '51, Harry L. Senger, Jr. '53, Edward L. Snow '53, Stanley E. Tobin '53, Pirie M. Tutchings '54, and J. W. Williams '54.
