Linden Street Squash Courts Keeper Honored at Buffet

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

"Archie" LaRochelle, retiring keeper of the Linden Street squash courts, will be honored at a buffet and entertainment tonight in Dillon Field House.

He has been an H.A.A. employee for 33 years, most of them as courts manager. Squash Coach Jack Barnaby said last night, "Everyone will miss Archie. He is a wonderful person." Barnaby praised Archie's coaching of freshmen and the way he scouts them for varsity slots. Many unknowns who would never have been spotted were thus given a chance, Barnaby said.
