Man Who Managed Clients for High-End Cambridge Brothel Network Pleads Guilty
Though H.A.A. rules forbid University subsidization of spring vacation trips, four teams, track, tennis, lacrosse, and golf, will manage to make them anyway.
The teams will make the vacation so-journ on a strictly independent basis. They are free to make any arrangements as to guaranteed receipts, rooms, and transportation.
A seven man track team will travel to Birmingham, Alabama, as the guests of the Birmingham Harvard Club. Coach Jaakko Mikkola has been asked to furnish one hurdler, a sprint medley team (880, 220, and one-quarter mile) and a mile relay team. Mikkola will hold time trials for all positions except the hurdler, who will be Bob Twitchell.
The team will leave by airplane April 3 at 8 p.m. and return Sunday morning.
North Carolina University will be the first stop for the tennis team, which plays there March 31 and April 1. Then it goes to Davidson on the second and third, and to Navy on the fifth.
The golf team will meet the University of Virginia, and Duke.
