Five University students are among those selected for Fellowships by Rotary International for advanced study abroad in 1952-53. The one-year grants range from $1,800 to $3,400.

They are Joel E. Gordon '52, of Berkeley, California, and Lowell House; Garth C. Grissom 1L, of Syracuse, Kansas; Calvin S. Hamilton 3G, of Cambridge; Ernest B. Johnston '52, of Selma, Alabama, and Kirkland House; and Gareth Matthews 1G. of Franklin, Indiana.

The fellowships are given in the interest of promoting international understanding, good will, and peace.
