Kirkland House eaters entered the Deacon dining hall last night with some serious inisgivings. The menu, a signal departure from customary College fare, included:

"Fillet of a fenny snake.

In a cauldron boll and bake;

Eye of newt and toe of frog,

Wool of bat and tongue of dog,

Adder's fork and blind-worm's sting

Lizard's leg and howlet's wing,"

.. and two glasses of milk.
