'Cliffe's New 'Byline' Replaces Defunct Literary 'Signature'

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Last night, Radcliffe saw its first literary magazine since Signature folded two years ago.

Tabbed Byline, the new magazine was put out by the Radcliffe News. It contains 36 pages of prose and poetry written by undergraduates at the Annex.

The new enterprise has been financed by the News and by contributions. This first issue is an experimental one, News editor-in-chief Patsy Arens '53 explained last night, and will be the only one to come out this year.

Should this issue prove successful, the News plans to appoint a special staff from its members to publish two or three issues next year.
