Cornell Debates Raise In All Tuition Charges

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

An increase in tuition fees at Cornell is "under consideration" by the administration. Treasurer Lewis H. Durland disclosed earlier this week.

Any decision on such an increase would come as part of the annual preparation of the University Budget, the Cornell Daily Sun, undergraduate newspaper reported, and probably would be discussed by the executive Committee of the Board of Trustees at its meeting late this month or at the full Board meeting scheduled for April.

If Cornell does raise its tuition, it will be the third Ivy League School, following Princeton and Yale, to have done so.
