The Freshman Union may receive some important guests shortly. The Union Committee last night voted to ressurrect the long defunct Harvard Union Speakers Program, which during the '20's brought a host of prominent men to speak before the freshman class.
Before the program was discontinued in 1932 it presented such leading figures as Franklin D. Roosevelt '04, Stephen Vincent Benet, Alexander Woolcott, Bertrand Russell, William Allen White, Eddie Cantor, Christopher Morely, Norman Thomas, and Thomas Lamont '92.
In reviving the series, the Union Committee plans to present a number of such prominent speakers to talk on a wide variety of subjects. The talks will be scheduled about twice a month at the Union. A special committee has been set up to work out the details of the program and contact speakers
