Grappler Bud Adams Is Sick; AAU Champ Johnny Lee Back

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Illness struck a blow at the varsity wrestling team's hopes for an undefeated year as a bad cold placed 130-pound Bud Adams on the inactive list, the CRIMSON learned yesterday.

So far this season, Adams has recorded four victories in four matches. According to Coach Bob Pickett, the junior will definitely be out of the lineup for several weeks, possibly for the entire season.

The glum picture is somewhat brightened, however, with the return of Johnny Lee for Saturday's meet with Springfield. Pickett plans to use the National A.A.U. champ at 123, to move sophomore Eddie Bursk into Adams' position, and to put Frank Dewar at 137.
