The varsity fencers defeated a team made up from several of the University graduate schools, 20 to 7, last Saturday. Eric Sollee and Steve Chandler paced the Crimson to the win with sweep of their three bouts. Both competed in the foil division.
Graduates Carl Knobloch (saber) and Jean Beauvois (epee) also won all of their engagements. Knobloch was an All-American intercollegiate saber man for Yale last year.
The varsity's next match will be against Boston University at 4 p.m. Wednesday in the I.A.B.
