Dartmouth president John S. Dickey has praised ROTC units established at Hanover this year for contributing a large measure of stability to the life of the school.

Speaking to alumni in Boston on Tuesday night, Dickey said that the Navy, Army, and Air Force units offered students both immediate security from draft worries and a chance to serve the long-range interests of this country.
