Professor Brown Takes Govt. Post

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

National Production Authority officials last night named Ernest J. Brown, professor of Law, as Boston Commissioner. Brown will hear materials priority violation cases in the Boston area.

Brown has been on the Law School faculty since 1946. He was acting Dean of the University of Buffalo Law School from the end of the war until that time.

The statement issued from Washington said Brown would probably take over his duties as soon as the necessary preparations have been made. Law School authorities could not be contacted last night for details.
