Cause of Yesterday's Two Fires Discovered

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

False alarms in Claverly and Sever Halls yesterday were both traced to the same cause--an unheated flue in the Claverly incinerator.

As a result the smoke backed up not only into Claverly itself, but also into the ventilating system of the network of steam tunnels which underlies all University buildings.
