The final draft of the recommendation for a "Critique of Current Issues" course passed the Radcliffe Student Council yesterday and will now be submitted to the Committee on General Education for approval. If approved, it will then be considered by the Faculty Committee.

The recommendation suggests that the course, somewhat similar to Dartmouth's "Great Issues" class, should be an upper level General Education course, open only to juniors and seniors. A different specialist would lecture each week and daily reading of at least one newspaper would be required.
