The varsity squash team got as far as the semi-finals in the National Squash Racquets championships in New Haven over the weekend, but then bowed, 3 to 2, to the Philadelphia team, which eventually won the title. Alty Flagg and Dave Symmes were the only winners for the Crimson.

In the singles, number one varsity player Charlie Ufford was ousted in the quarter-finals by defending champion Ed Hahn of Detroit. Hahn was later beaten by 18-year-old Harry Conlon, who went on to win the tournament.
