Yale University officials kept busy receiving gifts over the weekend when the Old Dominion Foundation headed by financier Paul Melion gave them $5,000,000. Other grants of $2,000,000 and $400,000 were also received during the annual Alumni Day ceremonies.

President A. Whitney Griswold of Yale said that the Old Dominion Foundation gift would be used to strengthen the General Education program at Yale.
