The freshman hockey team bounced back into the winning column yesterday at the Boston Garden, easily beating Cambridge High and Latin, 9 to 2. The Yardlings play the Dartmouth freshman this afternoon in Hanover.
Doug Manchester led the Crimson scoring three goals for the "hat trick." His first one was a beauty, coming on a 15-foot backhand shot. Captain Bob Marsolais and Neddie Bliss both scored two goals for the team, John Hardiman and Scott Coolidge counted one apiece, to complete the Crimson scoring.
Marsolais wants to win the Dartmouth game because he and "Red" Hanniger, recently elected Dartmouth captain, starred for Molrose High last year, where they were co-captains.
