Med School Senior Wins Prize For Hormone Treatment Study

Kenneth J. Ryan 4M has won the $1,000 Schering award for 1951. The subject of this year's competition for medical students in the United States and Canada was "Steriod Hormones in the Treatment of Arthritis."

Ryan, whose home is in Savanna, Illinois, is a member of Alpha Omega Alpha.

He is a Navy veteran an da graduate of Northwestern.
