Excellent snow conditions face the Crimson skiers as they travel to three meets this weekend. The Norwich Carnival, an Interscholastic race, and the American Class "B" Eastern Championships, will play host to Harvard's skiers.
At the Carnival, the varsity opposes Norwich, M.I.T., Rensselaer, Union, and favored Vermont. Coach Graham Taylor predicted his team would place second, "though probably a good way behind Vermont."
Hart Faces Top Skiers
Cross country ace John Hart will race against a field of top-notch skiers for the Class "B" Championships in Berlin, New Hampshire. Although Captain John Houser will start in the downhill and slalom, the Crimson is likely to suffer in these events from the loss of "Whitey" Black, who will be throwing the hammer at Yale.
In the Interscholastic meet at Dublin, New Hampshire, the freshmen will be pitted against three schools teams, Dublin, Exeter, and Andover.
Dublin is the favorite in this meet, although the Yardlings have a powerful entry in Ernie Dane.
