2 to 1 Decision Gives Debaters First Ivy Win

The Debate Council scored its first victory against two defeats in Ivy League competition last night, by scoring a two to one decision over the University of Pennsylvania on the topic, "Resolved: That the federal government should adopt a permanent program of wage and price control."

The Council will argue the same topic against Navy at 8 p.m. tonight in the Winthrop Junior Common Room.
