Howie Houston, coach of the Yardling mat team, is still in the market for a 130-pound freshman wrestler. For the past several days, Houston has placed a notice to this effect in the CRIMS stating that, "Any volunteer will be welcome."
Injuries have exhausted Houston's reserves in this weight class. Both Pete Coker and Dick Adams have been lost for an indefinite period. Adams' brother, Bud, 130-pound regular for the varsity wrestling team, will also be inactive for several weeks, because of illness.
Lack of a 130-pounder cost the Yardlings a victory against Exeter raining their perfect record up till then.
