Virginia Gets Cold Reception, Fascinated by Glass Flowers

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Virginia Warren found the University and Radcliffe "brisk but interesting" as she toured Cambridge yesterday. The blonde daughter of California's governor thought the glass flowers especially "fascinating."

In town with her father for a few days, Virginia saw this part of Cambridge from the arm of Roger A. Moore '53, vice-president of the Young Republicans Club. She was impressed.

"I've always wanted to see where they make such clever people," she said on surveying the Yard. Virginia's California blood, however, forced her out of the wind before the tour was completed.
