Dudley's intramural basketball team went home happy last night after beating Dunster House 65 to 33 in an "A" League game. Leading at the half 36 to 20, the Commuters ran away with the game as Ray Butman and Bob Conte scored 19 and 16 points respectively.

In other intramural athletics yesterday, Kirkland handed a 4 to 1 defeat to Leverett House in their "A" squash match, and Eliot beat the Puritans 4 to 1. The Winthrop House hockey team shut out Leverett, 2 to 0.

Only the American League was represented last night in the freshman intramural basketball games. In the "junior" circuit, Matthew South edged Thayer South, 26 to 24; Mower beat Grays, 30 to 25; Weld South romped over Thayer Middle, 28 to 9; and Straus South dumped Thayer North, 30 to 19.

High scorers in last night's games were Evan Dawson of Thayer South with 14 points; Straus South's George Buckner with 14; and Bob DuBose of Mower, who chucked in 12 points. Games in both the American and the National Leagues will be played tomorrow.
