Ufford, Watts Defeated in Opening Day of Squash Play

Charlie Ufford and Dave Watts, first and second men on the squash team, were eliminated on the first day of play in the annual Gold Racquet Squash Tournament held at New York's Rockaway Hunting Club this weekend.

Ufford defeated John Russell, who is ranked eleventh nationally, to win his first match, but lost in the second round to Calvin McCracken of the Princeton Club.
