Radcliffe's winter weekend, climaxed by the Cristmas Formal on Saturday, December 13, opens next Friday night when Moors Hall undertakes a proposed sleigh ride.
The weather will determine whether the sleigh ride turns into a hay ride or a record dance. But whatever the affair, it will be preceded by dinner for couples and succeeded by marshmallows and cider back at the dorm.
Even in the event of a blizzard, the Formal will be held as scheduled in Cabot, Whitman, Moors, and Briggs. There are will be dancing from 8 to 12 p.m. in all four dorms to the music of Half Reeves' orchestra.
Renee S. Michelson '53, in charge of social affairs for the college, heads the dance committees, composed of dorm social chairmen. These chairmen and their dates are invited to supper with the patrons and patronesses during the formal.
