A hopeful Crimson ski team will see its first action of the season during Christmas vacation, an intercollegiate four-event meet at Lyndonville, Vt., on January 3 and 4.

With a substantially increased budget, the team is looking forward to its most successful season since the war, according in Captain Tim Wise. Before they compete the skiers will spend a week of intensive training with Coach Graham Taylor in Woodstock, Vt.

Sophomores figure strongly in the team's hopes, since last year's freshman team was the strongest in years.

The freshman team has not scheduled any meets until early January.
