Law School Sponsors New Summer Courses For Returning Grads

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

More than 300 Law School Graduates will return to Harvard this August, for a summer program offered by the Law School.

The program, first of its kind, will open August 10 and will run through August 20 or 21. It will directly precede the annual meeting of the American Bar Association, which starts in Boston August 24.

Tentative plans for the summer program call for two main alternative courses. One course on estate planning will be taught by Professor Andrew J. Casner. The other courses will deal primarily with the effect of the Securities Exchange Commission on corporations. Additional courses will be taught by faculty members. The program will be directed by Professor Robert Braucher.

Plans for the summer meeting were first conceived last May, when the Law School sent questionnaires to members of the Harvard Law School Association, asking if they were in favor of the proposed meeting.
