Eight Debating Teams Qualify in Ames Comp

The Griswold Law Club took top honors over 33 other clubs in this fall's qualifying round of the Law School's Ames Competition among second year students.

The competition is decided by a series of inter-club debates which are held in the spring of each year. Of the 34 clubs which competed, eight finished with good enough records to qualify for the spring quarterfinals.

The won and lost records of the first eight clubs are: Griswold(4-0); Marshall Law (4-0); Jaffe (4-0); Frankfurter Law (3-1); Gardner (3-1); Casner Equity (3-1); Story (3-1); Gladstone-Webster (3-1).
