The Crimson's varsity A squash team topped University Club 4 to 1 yesterday at the club. Henri Salaun beat Charlie Ufford 15 to 5, 15 to 10, and 17 to 15. Salaun now ranks first among Massachusetts squash stars and fifth in the nation.
Dave Watts beat Harold Bordoff 15 to 12, 15 to 11, and 15 to 5. Hadden Tomes won by default. Charlie Elliott beat Rick Austin 15 to 12, 13 to 15, 15 to 13, and 15 to 13. Harry Brownell won over Pete Urbina by scores of 15 to 12, 12 to 15, 14 to 14, 15 to 7, and 18 to 14.
This afternoon the team will be host to Darmouth at Hemenway. Coach Jack Barnaby is confident although he thinks Dartmouth will have a strong squad. The Crimson has not lost to the Green in a formal match since before the war. The usual first nine men will play.
