Patrolmen Find 'Lost' Fur Coat

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

The Adams House Christmas Party had a happy ending after all, thanks to the alertness of two Cambridge patrolmen, John McCarthy and John Horgan.

Early in the evening, Charlotte De Monte, Radcliffe '55, lost a valuable brown mouton fur coat out of the Adams downstairs coatroom. She immediately notified University and Cambridge police, but held only little hope of getting the coat back.

The patrolmen, however, discovered the coat while quieting down a "Party" early, this morning in the rooms of a student who had taken the coat. Mistaking it for that of his date.

announcement of the loss of the Rouse play and a check of the coatroom by police earlier were unsuccessful.
