The cases of five freshmen, charged with disturbing the peace at a political rally Monday night, were continued until November 19 in Middlesex Third District Court yesterday.
The students, all freshmen, are: Arthur B. Ellison, Peter D. M. Sererie, Stephen Shohet, Charles E. Beveridge, and Rector K. Fox.
Police charged them with attempting to take over two searchlights at a Dever rally in front of Cambridge's Hotel Commander. Police also said they shouted obscenities at the Massachusetts Governor, who spoke at the rally.
Brought before Judge Louis Green, they were released until November 19 under $28 bail each.
