Jordan Olivar received a strong vote of confidence from Yale Wednesday when he received a new three year contract as head football coach. His reported salary is $10,000 per annum.
Olivar, after six years as head coach at Loyola, went into the insurance under-writing business last year but took over as successor to Herman Hickman on a temporary basis this fall.
At the same time, Robert Hall, Yale's Athletic Director, announced that a ninth game had been added to Yale's 1953 football schedule, with the Elis playing Temple at New Haven November 7th.
